Meet your guides in Como and begin your Lake Como adventure with a relaxed welcome day. After a light lunch and bike fitting at a local bike café, we set off for an easy ride along the western shore of the lake.Quiet roads, elegant villas, and dramatic mountain views accompany us to the charming village of Moltrasio, offering a perfect introduction to the landscapes and atmosphere of the region.
In the evening, we enjoy our first dinner together and a briefing on the week ahead.
From Lake Como to Valle Intelvi

Leaving the lakeshore behind, we begin our first full cycling day with a scenic climb into the beautiful Val d’Intelvi, a quiet mountain valley suspended between Lake Como and Lake Lugano.Riding along peaceful backroads, we pass small stone villages and forested slopes while enjoying ever-expanding views over the lake and surrounding Alps.
We reach our mountain accommodation in the upper valley, where we’ll settle in for the next three nights and enjoy a well-earned rest in a tranquil alpine setting.
Monte Generoso Panoramic Hike

Today we leave the bikes behind and head into the mountains for a spectacular hike to the summit of Monte Generoso, one of the most scenic viewpoints in the region.Following well-marked trails through forests and open ridgelines, we enjoy wide-ranging views over Lake Lugano and the surrounding Alps. At the summit, breathtaking panoramas stretch across Switzerland and Italy, with iconic peaks visible on clear days.
After time to enjoy the views, we descend back toward the valley and return to our accommodation in Val d’Intelvi for a relaxed evening.
Rifugio Venini Ride & Optional Monte Crocione Hike

6 km · 240 m | 3.7 mi · 790 ftToday we tackle one of the tour’s most epic rides, climbing 45 km (28 mi) into the high Val d’Intelvi to reach Rifugio Venini, the valley’s highest refuge with spectacular panoramic views over Lake Como and Lake Lugano.
The final stretch follows a historic military road from the early 1900s, winding past ridgelines and abandoned fortifications. At Rifugio Venini, enjoy local mountain cuisine and soak in the alpine atmosphere.
For those seeking more adventure, an optional 6-km (3.7 mi) hike to Monte Crocione (+240 m / 790 ft) offers breathtaking viewpoints over Bellagio and the surrounding lakes. Support is available for anyone choosing to ride only or hike only.
Scenic Ride to Bellagio

Today we leave the mountains behind and follow one of the region’s most scenic cycling routes toward Menaggio, passing panoramic roads with stunning views over Lake Lugano and Lago del Piano.
A dedicated bike path around Lago del Piano offers a peaceful ride through forests, clear waters, and rolling hills before we reach Menaggio and cross the lake by ferry to Bellagio.
In Bellagio, enjoy its elegant lakeside streets, pastel buildings, and vibrant atmosphere, then settle into our hotel for a relaxing evening and dinner.
Final Ride from Bellagio to Como

The route passes iconic spots such as the Orrido di Nesso, a dramatic gorge with a waterfall and medieval bridge, offering perfect photo opportunities. Along the lake, we admire villas, sparkling waters, and surrounding alpine peaks.
Arriving in Como, we reflect on the week’s adventures before a celebratory dinner, sharing stories and toasting to an unforgettable Lake Como experience.

After a wonderful week of cycling, hiking, and exploring Lake Como, it’s time to say goodbye. Transfers can be arranged from your hotel to Como station or another location of your choice.

Answers to common questions about Lake Como Outdoor Holiday
Please arrange to be in Como at approximately 11:00 am.
If you arrive by train, we can pick you up directly at the station by van, even if you are already staying in Como from the previous evening.We kindly ask you to exit the limited traffic zone (ZTL) if your accommodation is located in the historic center.
After your booking is confirmed, a WhatsApp group will be created where all tour details will be shared and where you will receive updates and practical information.
The closest airport to Como is Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP).
From Malpensa, you can reach Como directly by train with the Malpensa Express, without changing trains. The journey takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Como is served by two main train stations:

Como Nord Lago, located in the historic center, right by the lake

Como San Giovanni, located near the waterfront and within walking distance of the city center
Most direct trains from Malpensa arrive at Como Nord Lago.
If needed, we can arrange a pick-up at the train station.-
E-Bikes of all sizes are available. Most of them are Specialized Turbo Levo models or bikes of equivalent quality.
The weather around Lake Como is generally pleasant, with mild temperatures and lots of sunshine, making it perfect for outdoor activities.
In the higher altitudes, you might encounter a bit of wind, so we always recommend bringing something to cover up in case of rain or wind.
Overall, the conditions are ideal for enjoying the lake, the scenery, and your adventures comfortably.
